Garden of the Gods Resort Wedding

If you are looking to get married with the best views of the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak in the background then look no further than Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. Don’t just take my word for it, they are listed by USA Today Readers’ Choice as one of the top spots in the country for a destination wedding.

Here are my thoughts on this beautiful venue.

Location - Aside from the stunning views, Garden of the Gods Resort and Club is located on the west side of Colorado Springs and is about 10 minutes from Downtown so it is easy to get to and close to all the things a city has to offer.

Accommodation - A huge plus for a wedding venue is that there is accommodation available for you and your guests. This is a great way to simplify your planning as your guests can just walk to their room at the end of the night. No need for busses.

Style - The Garden of the Gods Resort and Club has a great blend of luxury and elegance but with an epic Colorado mountain backdrop. So if that is the kind of vibe you want for your wedding, this place has what you are looking for.

Service - As you might expect, a luxury resort has excellent staff members who are always on hand to make your experience even better.

Something to note is that the ceremony space overlooking the Garden of the Gods is open and uncovered so on a sunny afternoon, your guests will be exposed and have the sun on their faces so sunscreen might be advisable. That being said, this means that the sun will be backlighting you for your ceremony and that is a much better angle for your pictures! Silver linings :)

There is also limited space for portraits in the garden area. This is not necessarily a bad thing, there are plenty of interesting things such as the reflecting pool to take photos around.
